Slovakia announces sending humanitarian aid to Syria

Bratislava, SANA – The Slovakian Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday that it will send humanitarian aid to Syria in order to alleviate the suffering of civilians in Aleppo.

In a statement, the Ministry said that a convoy carrying humanitarian aid will head out from a logistic base in Bratislava on Wednesday, and that the majority of the aid consists of medical equipment for administering anesthesia and performing examinations of internal organs from Chirana Stara Tura (Chirana Medical) company.

The aid also includes blankets and beds for hospitals provided by the Ministry of Interior, while part of the aid was provided by Magna, a humanitarian NGO.
