Power outage in Quneitra due to a terrorist attack

Quneitra, SANA – Terrorist groups from Jabhat al-Nusra that is linked to the Israeli enemy attacked on Thursday afternoon an electric power transmission line supplying the southern Quneitra province, causing a power outage there.

A source at the General Company of Electricity in Quneitra told SANA reporter that the terrorist groups targeted a voltage power line at Ein al-Bustan site in Saasaa area in the southwestern countryside of Damascus.

The attack caused a blackout in Quneitra province, the source said.

Maintenance and repair teams of the Company have already headed to Saasaa area to fix the damage caused by the terrorist attack, according to the source.

A similar power outage in Quneitra occurred on the 17th of October when Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist groups attacked another voltage power line to the west of Saasaa area.
