Deir Ezzor, SANA- Two tons of meat arrived to Deir Ezzor city through Syrian helicopters from Qamishli city.
Governor of Deir Ezzor Mohammad Ibrahim Samra pointed out that the helicopters of the Syrian Air Force transported two tons of beef and mutton from the city of Qamishli to the city of Deir Ezzor, affirming that meat and eggs will continue to be sent to the city in the coming period.
Samra, who supervised the process of selling meat to the locals, added that the governorate contracted a number of traders to supply beef, mutton, chicken and eggs to the city to be sold to the citizens at the price of SYP 4000 per kilogram of beef and mutton, SYP 1800 for chicken and SYP 2000 for an egg box.
Deir Ezzor city has been under a 2-year blockade by ISIS terrorist organization which prevents the delivery of food, medicines and fuel to citizens.
