New aid convoy arrives in Daraa

Daraa, SANA-An aid convoy of 6,000 food and health packages arrived in Izra’a city in the southern province of Daraa, a provincial official said on Saturday.

Deputy Chairman of the Executive Office in Daraa governorate Awwad Swaidan said the convoy of aid was offered by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in cooperation with the Relief subcommittee in Daraa and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch.

The packages will be distributed in the coming few days to families who have been displaced from their houses in Izra’a city due to the crimes of terrorist organizations.

This is the fourth ICRC aid convoy to be sent to the province as it was preceded by aid convoys distributed in the cities of Nawa, Inkhel,al-Sanamain, Jassem and al-Hara.
