Lattakia, SANA – Dubbed “Greeting to the Syrian Arab Army”, activities of the Music Days festival organized by the Arab House of Music, in cooperation with Lattakia City Council, kicked off at the National Theatre in Lattakia.
During the three-day event, distinguished talents will perform western and eastern musical compositions with a modern touch that appeal to all tastes.
Director of the Arab House for Painting and Music, Yasser Dreibati, said that the 14th edition of this annual event targets different age categories, adding that the Institute’s Orchestra will play musical compositions in front of the audience for the first time.
The opening ceremony included rhythm dances for the Institute’s students whose ages varied between 4 and 12 years old, after which Arab and local songs were presented.
The Arab House for Painting and Music was founded in 2003. It aims at spreading musical education and activating the cultural movement in Lattakia province.
