Sweida, SANA – A unit of the popular defense groups seized Tuesday evening a tanker transporting gas oil to ISIS terrorist groups in the southern Sweida province.

According to a source at Sweida Governorate, the terrorist groups’ smuggling routes and movements were monitored and the popular defense unit ambushed the tanker to the east of Shaaf village in eastern Sweida on the border of the Syrian Badia (desert).

The source told SANA reporter that the two terrorists who were driving the tanker were arrested.
