Damascus, SANA – Temperatures are rising to become around or slightly above average as the country is under the influence of a superficial high pressure system, accompanied by northwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds and that the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The winds will be of low speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 30/16, Daraa 31/16, Homs 30/13, Lattakia 31/19, Aleppo 30/16 and Deir Ezzor 33/18.
