Damascus, SANA – The Patriarchal Choir Saint Ephrem the Syrian organized a musical performance at the stadium of al-Thawra Sports Club in al-Qasa’a area in Damascus, during which it launched the “love brings us together” initiative in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
Accompanied by music from Adonia band, the Choir performed a variety of traditional and folk songs, all focusing on the theme of peace.
Director of the initiative Shadi Sarwa told SANA that the initiative includes an “art contest for peace” for ages 16 to 30, and it involves composing and writing songs, sculpture, and writing poetry.
