Legal status of 94 persons from different provinces settled

Provinces, SANA- Some 94 people from the provinces of Damascus, Damascus Countryside and Idleb had their legal status settled on Tuesday according to the recently issued Amnesty Decree no. 15 for 2016.

The 94 persons had turned themselves in and handed over their arms to the authorities earlier to the settlement operation, which took place at Damascus Governorate’s building.

Damascus Governor Bishr al-Sabban said the amnesty decree came to support the reconciliation process across the country. It is also part of the government’s efforts to bring all those who were misled back on the right track, al-Sabban added.

On Sunday, the legal files of 264 wanted persons were settled in Daraa in the framework of local reconciliations in the southern province and the Amnesty Decree.
