Damascus, SANA – The temperatures remain around or slightly above average as the country is affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by subtropical high pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot with clear skies in general and it is going to be misty in the eastern, al- Jazira and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/22, Daraa 36/20, Hama 35/22, Homs 31/21, Lattakia 30/25, Aleppo 39/22 and Deir Ezzor 41/25.
