Damascus, SANA – Tourism Minister Bishr Yazigi called for granting authority to the administrations of the Ministry’s hotels to carry out renovations and refurbishing to improve their facilities, satisfy customers, and raise their revenues.
During a meeting with Ministry staff, Yazigi asserted the need for improving the level of the hotels’ aesthetic appearance at the lowest costs by depending on qualified technical staff in these hotels.
Yazigi called on the hotels’ administrations to hold training courses for those interested, stressing the need for the administrations to adhere to specific prices lists.
The status of the works at the hotels Sheraton, Dama Rose, Ebla, al-Shahbaa in Aleppo, and Lamera in Lattakia were discussed at the meeting.
