Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will rise to become 4 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be hot with clear skies in general and it is going to be misty and very hot in the eastern, al-Jazira and al- Badiya (desert) areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 40/21, Daraa 38/21, Homs 36/23, Lattakia 32/24, Aleppo 39/23 and Deir Ezzor 43/25.
