100 national companies participate in “Made In Syria” shopping festival in Damascus

Damascus, SANA- The 7th round of monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria” was opened on Monday at al-Jalaa sports complex in Mezzeh area in Damascus
with the participation of a hundred national companies.

Industry Minister Kamal Eddin Touma affirmed that the festival indicates that the mini and mid-sized industrial establishments are in a stage of recovery and that the wheel of production has taken off, with factories becoming able to meet the local markets’ needs of different products.

In turn, Chairman of the Board of the Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry Samer al- Debs stressed the importance of the festival through which producers try to present their products directly to locals with low prices.

The festival is a monthly event that gathers all social actives where the customer meets the producer directly without any mediator in a positive phenomenon that requires a support and encouragement from all parties concerned.

The first round of the festival was opened in Damascus followed by three others, while three other festivals , two in Tartous and one in Lattakia, were opened this year.
