Tartous Governor visits more families of bombings’ victims to offer condolences

Tartous, SANA – Upon directives from President Bashar al-Assad, Tartous Governor Safwan Abu Saadi on Friday continued visiting families of victims of the recent terrorist bombings to offer condolences.

The Governor, accompanied by al-Baath Party branch secretary Ghassan Asaad, visited families in the areas of Safita and al-Sheikh Badr. In addition to offering condolences, the Governor also offered compensation to the families, which the government provides to families of martyrs in such cases.

On May 23rd, a series of synchronized terrorist bombings targeted a bus station, the Electricity Directorate, and the National Hospital in Jableh city, as well as a bus station and a residential neighborhood in Tartous city, killing and injuring scores of civilians.
