Damascus, SANA – The temperatures remain slightly above average in most areas as the country is affected by superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and that local rain showers are expected over the mountains in the coastal area.
The weather will be misty in the eastern and Badiya (desert) areas, while the wind will be northwesterly of moderate to light speed and the sea waves will be low in height, according to the bulletin.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become 2 to 4 degrees above average and the skies will be clear in general.
The temperatures expected in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/15, Daraa 28/15, Homs 30/13, Hama 33/15, Hasaka 31/14, Lattakia 25/17, Aleppo 29/13 and Deir Ezzor 32/16.
