Aleppo, SANA – Seven civilians were killed and others were injured Saturday in terrorist attacks that hit residential neighborhoods in Aleppo city.

Two people were killed and seven others were injured as rocket shells fired by terrorists targeted al-Khalediyeh and al-Athamiyeh neighborhoods.

Earlier on the day, a police source told SANA that terrorist organizations, based in Bustan al-Basha neighborhood, launched rocket shells on al-Midan neighborhood, leaving four members of one family dead, in addition to damaging houses and private and public properties.

Elsewhere, one civilian was killed and a woman was injured in sniper shooting at civilians in al-Shihan roundabout. Snipers are based in al-Lairamoun neighborhood.

Residential neighborhoods are usually targeted by terrorists who seek to terrify citizens who back the Syrian army in its war against terrorism.

Terrorist organizations in Aleppo and its countryside keep breaching the cessation of hostilities agreement, enforced since 27 February, by attacking safe neighborhoods with mortar and rocket shells, in addition to launching attacks on military posts.
