Israeli enemy commits new massacre in Gaza, as Resistance announces death of 14 Israeli soldiers

Gaza, SANA – Amid a new heinous Israeli crime which the occupation forces committed Sunday in al-Shuja’iyeh neighborhood in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian resistance announced the death of 14 Israeli soldiers in an ambush.

74 Palestinians were reported killed in a massacre committed in al-Shuja’iyeh neighborhood as a result of ferocious Israeli shelling. About 350 others were injured.

Women and children were reported among the victims, in addition to tens of persons who are still under debris.

Meanwhile, in a severe blow dealt to the Israeli occupation forces, the Palestinian resistance announced that it set up early today an ambush for Israeli mechanized troops who moved hundreds of meters deep into eastern Gaza city, until they got trapped in a mine field, when they were blown up. The operation, carried out by al-Qassam Battalions, resulted in the death of 14 Israeli soldiers.

Another operation by the resistance resulted in the death of 5 Israeli soldiers to the east of Rafah, while 6 more soldiers got killed in central Gaza at the military site of Abo Mteibeq.

The occupation forces admitted that Commander of the Israeli Golani Brigade, who is a colonel, was injured in clashes with resistance members in central Gaza.

Israeli media also acknowledged that 2 soldiers, one an officer, were killed and 4 others were injured, who were taken to Tel Hashomer hospital.

Israeli TV Channel 2 reported that 27 soldiers have been injured overnight during clashes and were transferred to Barzilai and Soroka medical centers.

The 14th-day continued aggression on Gaza Strip, which started with intensive air bombardment and was expanded into a ground invasion, has claimed the lives of 450 Palestinians and injured more than 3000 others.
