Provinces, SANA – Army units tightened grip on terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in continuous military operations Sunday in several areas around the country.
Army units continued operations against terrorists’ hideouts and destroyed weapons and ammunition in eastern Ghouta and several other towns in Damascus countryside.
SANA field reporter said dens for terrorists were destroyed with the weapons and ammunitions inside in a string of operations in Jobar neighborhood, in parallel with similar operations in Zamalka and Erbin that left several terrorists killed and their weapons destroyed.
Weaponry and ordnance, including automatic shotguns and heavy machineguns were destroyed during an army operation against a terrorists’ den in Alia farms in Douma. Omar Badran was identified among the dead.
Members of an armed group were either killed or wounded in Ain Tarma with their weapons destroyed, and terrorists were killed in Kafr Batna while an army operation on the outskirts of al-Maliha resulted in the killing of a number of terrorists, among them Nour-Eddin Abu Zaitoun and Khalil al-Assi.
Army units destroyed a den for terrorists in al-Nishabiyeh farms with the weapons and ammunitions inside, killing a number of its members, among them Deeb Jamous.
Meanwhile in al-Zabadani, an army unit targeted a concentration for terrorists in al-Jamiy’at neighborhood, killing many terrorists, including Issam Abdullah al-Dalati and Mohammad Saleh.
Other terrorists were killed in Zabadani eastern mountains where a concentration for terrorists was pounded, and weapons were destroyed in Damascus southwestern countryside.
Army units, moreover, continued to track down terrorists in al-Mesherfeh and al-Maarra towns in Qalamoun region on the Syrian-Lebanese borders, killing numbers of terrorists and destroying weaponry.
Army units killed many terrorists, injured others and destroyed two armored vehicles with all terrorists inside during targeting their gatherings in Jabal al-Shaer area, the surrounding hills in Oqeirbat village and Jazal oil well in Palmyra countryside in Homs Province, in addition to destroying a pickup loaded with ammunition in al-Nasrani mountain to the northern east of al-Qariaten town.
Army units also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Salam village and Masada, in addition to foiling a terrorists’ infiltration attempt from Om Sahrij town towards al-Shomariyeh mountains in the eastern countryside of Homs, killing a number of its members and injuring others.
The source stressed that army units targeted an armed terrorist group in Taldo in al-Houla, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying a bulldozer in al-Farhanieh village. Other armed terrorist groups were also eliminated in Kherbet Jamrah in the southern countryside of Qseir.
A military source told SANA that army units eliminated terrorists in Ebtin, Qibtan al-Jabal, Hour, al-Sheikh Said, Kafer Khasher, Mayer, al-Ramouseh, Karm Maysar, the Industrial City, al-Hulwaniyeh, the old city of Aleppo, Jadet al-Khandaq and al-Hajeb in Aleppo and its countryside and destroyed their criminal tools.
Army units destroyed terrorists’ vehicles with all terrorists inside them in Hanano, Qibtan al-Jabal, Anadan, to the north of the Thermal plant, Deir Hafer, Kafer Hamra, Kastillo, al-Jandoul and Sheikh Lutfi.
Units of the army also confronted an attempt by the terrorists to infiltrate from Tranja Town to Dahr al-Kassar in Quneitra Countryside as a number of the terrorists were killed and others were injured while their criminal tools were destroyed.
The units of the armed forces also targeted gatherings and dens of the terrorists in the villages and towns of Um Batina, Uvania and to the east of Majdulia town in Quneitra Countryside, eliminating a number of them, in addition to destroying their criminal tools.
In Daraa Countryside, army units foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempt to one of the military posts to the west of al-Jisr in the surrounding of Khirbat Ghazale town, in addition to demolishing two vehicles and a Pickup car equipped with a heavy machinegun while a number of the terrorists were killed and others were injured.
Gatherings and dens of the terrorists were also targeted by the army units in the villages and towns of al-Sheikh Sa’ad, Alma, Tal Seif, al-Sura, Enkhil, al-Jiza, western and eastern al-Gharia, Attaman town, near the police station in Bosr al-Harir, on Um al-Mayyadin Crossroads and to the west of Tal Kudir.
A number of the terrorists were killed and others were injured while their criminal tools were demolished.
Army units also eliminated a number of the terrorists in the surrounding of the Post Building, al-Hamadin Alley in Daraa al-Balad, destroying a car equipped with a machinegun and three motorcycles used by the terrorists.
Two Pickups were destroyed by the units of the armed forces and all the terrorists inside them were killed on the road of Tafas- al-Yadoda and Tafas-Attman.
The army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Atman town and on Tafas- al-Yadoudeh road in Daraa countryside, killing and injuring many of them.
Other army units foiled terrorists’ attempt to attack a number of military checkpoints in the area surrounding Khurbet Ghazaleh town in Daraa countryside, killing a number of them, in addition to destroying 6 armored cars and other cars equipped with heavy machine-guns.
A military source said army units have targeted concentrations for terrorists in Rajm al-Mashwar, on Sayda road, Tafas, al-Ghariyah al-Sharqiah and Rasm al-Ubayya in Daraa countryside.
Numbers of terrorists were killed and others wounded, and weapons were destroyed during the operations.
The army units stormed terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Ma’ar Tob’ai, Frekeh. Kfaroma , the areas surrounding al-Arba’ein mountain and Tal Denet in Idleb countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
In another context, an explosion of a terrorists’ depot caused the killing many terrorists in the area surrounding Binnish town, including Odai Allosh, Nadem al-Nabhan and Mos’ab Mustafa al-Sayyed.
Army units also attacked a terrorist group in the surrounding of Kansaba to the north of Lattakia Countryside as most of the group’s members were killed and were injured including foreign terrorists, in addition to demolishing a store of explosive devices and an armored car.
