Baghdad, SANA- Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al-Obaidi discussed on Monday with Syria’s Ambassador in Baghdad Sadam Jadaan al-Dandah means to develop bilateral cooperation between Syria and Iraq in the fight against terrorism.
The two sides affirmed the importance of continuing and developing the exchange of information on terrorist organizations and ways to fight the terrorism which targets the Syrian and Iraqi peoples.
They also hailed the achievements of the Syrian and Iraqi armies in combating terrorism, mainly in Palmyra city in Syria and al-Anbar and Ninawa provinces in Iraq, with Minister al-Obaidi affirming that Syria and Iraq are embroiled in the same battle against a common enemy.
