Tunisia, Iraq call for putting an end to Israeli massacres against Palestinians

Tunisia, SANA- Tunisian President Kais Saied and his Iraqi counterpart, Abdul Latif Rashid, stressed the need to act and to put an end to the massacres committed by Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.

TAP news agency quoted the Tunisian presidency as saying in a statement that the two presidents stressed during a phone call the need for a firm will for the entire nation to come together in a common sense and put an end to the heinous massacres committed by the usurping Zionist entity against people in Palestine.

The two presidents expressed firm belief in the right of the Palestinian people to regain their full rights, foremost of which is their right to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

On the other hand, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.
