Lattakia, SANA- In a new attack by the Turkish regime on the Syrian territories, shells fired by the Turkish forces fell on different areas in the northern countryside of Lattakia which coincided with the continued breaches of cessation of hostilities in Damascus, Hama and Aleppo by terrorist organizations.
The Russian center for coordination and monitoring of the cessation of hostilities in Hmeimeem said in a statement issued on Saturday that 10 breaches of cessation of hostilities by terrorist organizations were monitored during the past 24 hours.
“The breaches were monitored in Damascus, Aleppo and Hama”, the center explained, adding that “sites of the Syrian army were bombed five times from areas where the so-called free army is active”.
Until Friday, terrorist organizations breached the cessation of hostilities 127 times since February 27th the date of the implementation of the Russian-US agreement adopted by the UN Security Council in accordance to resolution No. 2268.
The Russian Center pointed out that Kurdish Protection Units in Aleppo came under fire and witnessed attacks by the so-called the free army from the side of Jibreen, Azaz and Kafar Khasher towns.
Terrorist organizations that are active in Shahashbo Mountain and Kafar Nabouda targeted on Saturday afternoon al-Sqeilbiyeh city in Hama countryside with 7 rocket shells, injuring three civilians and causing serious material damage to residential neighborhoods.
The statement added that artillery shells fired from the Turkish side fell on some of villages and towns in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
The Center confirmed that the Russian and Syrian warplanes have not carried out sorties against the groups that declared commitment to the cessation of hostilities.
Syrian warplanes carried out intensive sorties against sites of ISIS to the west of Mahseh town and in the area surrounding al-Qareitain, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and ammunition upon terrorists.
ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations listed on the list of international terrorism are not included the cessation of hostilities.
The center pointed out that the towns in which reconciliation agreements were reached with the parties concerned numbered 44.
Later, a military source said that terrorist groups targeted a military aircraft near an airport in Hama countryside while it was landing, causing it to crash.
