Lattakia, SANA – Tourism Minister Bishr Yazigi stressed the need to work towards relaunching stalled tourist projects in Lattakia city and Jableh area and to provide tourist destinations for Syrian families with limited income.
Meeting investors in Lattakia city on Friday, Yazigi called for improving services provided at tourist facilities and completing open beach projects that cater to all demographics, which should be launched in the next season, noting that work is underway to form the Federation of Tourism Chambers within January.
He also asserted that the Ministry is working diligently to overcome all obstacles hindering the implementation of tourism projects, including providing loans to investors whose facilities were damaged by terrorists, like the facilities in Kasab area.
