Damascus, SANA- Syria, in facing Takfiri terrorism, is not only defending itself and the Arab Nation, but civilization and the future of the youth, Syrian Grand Mufti Ahmad Bader-Eddin Hassoun told the participants in the International Youth Forum for Solidarity with Syria “Hands off Syria”.
Hassoun called, during the meeting Wednesday, upon the youth to play more efficient role in protecting their homelands, civilizations and culture in the face of what is happening in the world nowadays.
The Grand Mufti reiterated that Syria will remain an example to be followed in tolerance, coexistence, amity and peace, hailing the unity among all Syrians, people, leadership and army, in facing terrorism.
For their part, the participants in the Forum expressed solidarity with Syria’s people, army, and leadership, in achieving victory over terrorism.
Activities of the International Youth Forum for Solidarity with Syria were kicked off on January 5th with participation of Youth Arab and Foreign Organizations from 20 countries.
