Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become slightly lower than average as the country is being affected by
a low air pressures accompanied by a western wet air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy
and rainy over various areas across the country, rain will be accompanied by thunder, while snow is expected on
the mountains.
The winds will be western to southwestern of low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be of low to moderate
amplitude.
The Department expected that snow and rain will continue to fall in all over the country, while temperatures
will continue to drop to become lower than average from 4 to 6 degrees.
It rained in many areas during the last 24 hours across the country, according to the Ministry of Agriculture
and Agrarian Reforms’ bulletin, as follows, In.. Damascus 6 mm, Sweida 5,5 mm, Daraa 3 mm, Quneitra 8 mm, Homs
21 mm, Tartous 27 mm, Lattakia 1 mm, Aleppo 9 mm and in Hasaka 10 mm.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 12/04, Daraa 10/05, Homs 12/02,
Hama 12/03, Hasaka 11/04, Lattakia 17/09, Aleppo 08/03 and Deir Ezzor 14/05.
