Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will rise to become about or slightly above average as the country is under a high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear and the weather will be stable in general with some scattered clouds.
The department warned of frost forming over the central and mountainous areas.
The winds will be mostly northwesterly of low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/02, Aleppo 13/02, Homs 15/01, Hama 16/02, Idleb 13/04, Hasaka 13/01, Raqqa 14/03, Daraa 16/02, Sweida 13/01 and Lattakia 19/09.
