Provinces, SANA – The Syrian army continued its operations against the armed terrorist organizations in several provinces on Monday, establishing control over dozens of villages and destroyed terrorists’ fortifications and weaponry.
Aleppo
Army units established full control over the villages of Khalsah, al-Qalajiyeh, al-Hamra and Zaitan in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo province, a military source told SANA on Monday.
The army combed the aforementioned villages and removed the explosive devices planted by terrorist organizations among the houses and in the neighboring agricultural lands.
The Army’s Air Force carried out intensive sorties against dens and supply routes of ISIS terrorists in Shweilekh, Jrouf , Rasm al-Mesherfeh and Teejan in Deir Hafer area 52 kilometers to the east of Aleppo city, according to a military source.
The air strikes destroyed gatherings and vehicles with all arms and ammunition inside them for ISIS terrorists who suffered during the past weeks successive defeats in the eastern countryside of the city after establishing control over scores of villages and farms surrounding Kweires Airport by the army.
In the northern countryside of Aleppo, a unit of army carried out a special operation against dens and gatherings of Takfiri terrorist organizations in al-Khalediyeh village destroying them and eliminating all terrorists, arms and ammunition inside.
Meanwhile, field sources said that an army unit clashed with a terrorist group that tried to infiltrate from Bani Zeid neighborhood to al-Khaldiyeh neighborhood in Aleppo city.
A terrorist group detonated a tunnel on the outskirts of al-Khaldiyeh and tried to infiltrate into the neighborhood but an army unit defeated it and all terrorists were either killed or wounded.
Takfiri terrorist organizations dig tunnels under the old city to infiltrate through them to the safe neighborhoods and destroyed some infrastructure and archaeological buildings.
Hama/ Idleb
Army units killed more than 62 terrorists in a series of operations against the terrorist organizations in Hama and Idleb provinces.
In Hama, the army destroyed terrorists’ command center and 3 vehicles and killed more than 15 terrorists in Kifr Zeita in Hama’s northern countryside.
The army also killed 10 terrorists in al-Latamneh and destroyed terrorists’ gatherings in Ma’an town. Army units clashed with terrorists who tried to infiltrate into the eastern side of Morek area and killed and injured the majority of the assailants and destroyed two vehicles.
Later on, field sources told SANA that the army killed 8 terrorists, including groups’ leaders, and destroyed a hideout and ammo depot in al-Latamneh and killed 12 terrorists in Kifr Zeita.
The army destroyed a vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun and a mortar base for the terrorist organizations “Jaish al-Fatih” in Maarkaba in the northern countryside of the province.
In Idleb southern countryside, the army destroyed terrorists’ gatherings and convoy of vehicles, killing more than 15 terrorists and destroying many of their vehicles in al-Tamanaa area.
Homs
The Syrian Air Force launched airstrikes against ISIS positions and movements in al-Qariatin city in the southeast countryside of Homs.
ISIS positions and vehicles along with all terrorists and weapons inside them were destroyed during the airstrikes.
The Army’s airstrikes also destroyed gatherings and fortified sites of ISIS in Qassr al-Halabat area to the west of Tadmour city.
An army unit eliminated in a concentrated operation a number of terrorists in the area surrounding Jisr al-Dmina near al-Rastan city.
Lattakia
Army units, in cooperation with the Popular Defense groups established control over Akko and Bouz al-Kherba villages in Lattakia’s north-eastern countryside after destroying positions, arms and ammunition for the terrorist organizations and killing scores of them.
During combing the two villages, the army units seized anti-missiles launching pads, amounts of various weapons, field hospital in addition to Saudi and UAE materials and equipment.
