12 trucks carrying consumer products arrive in Aleppo province

Aleppo, SANA – Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Minister Jamal Shahin said that 12 tricks carrying consumer products have arrived in Aleppo province, and that this shipment is the first of many that will be sent to the province to provide citizens’ needs.

During a visit to Aleppo on Saturday, Shahin said that providing the needs of Aleppo province is a priority for the government, calling on all sides in Aleppo city to work towards providing retail outlets for positive intervention establishments.

The Minister’s visit included a meeting with officials in Aleppo city, in which Aleppo Governor Mohammad Marwan Olabi reviewed the state of services in the provinces, particularly in terms of fuel, noting that efforts are being exerted to stabilize market prices, and that they have been successful so far.

Two days ago, 14 trucks carrying around 75 tons of fruit and vegetables arrived at Aleppo and were distributed following the reopening of Aleppo-Khanasser-Ethriya-Salamiya road on November 4th.
