Provinces, SANA- Units of the army and the armed forces on Sunday continued to carry out wide-scale military operations against dens and positions of the Takfiri terrorist organizations across the country, killing scores of their members including a number of their self-claimed leaders and destroying their arms and equipment.
Aleppo
Three leaders of terrorist groups killed in Aleppo
Army units in cooperation with popular defense groups carried out intensive operations under a cover of Army’s Air Force during which they expanded control over Aleppo countryside.
They established control over al-Wadeehi village and its surrounding, al-Sbeihiyeh to the south west of Aleppo city and al-Qadara, al-Hweijeh and al-Jaberiyeh villages in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
During these operations, heavy losses in personnel and munitions were inflicted upon terrorist organizations,the source said, noting that army units continue pursuing remnants of terrorists in the surrounding areas.
Engineering units combed the villages and dismantled dozens of explosive devices which were planted by terrorists among houses and farms.
An army unit reestablished control over al-Jabria town in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
The Takfiri terrorist organizations acknowledged that nine of their members were killed and heavy losses were inflicted upon them in the equipment in operations carried out by the army and the armed forces against their dens and positions in the countryside of Aleppo province.
The terrorist organizations indicated on their pages on the social networking websites that three of their self-claimed leaders were killed including self-claimed military commander in “Jaish al-Mujahideen” terrorist Nouri Mohammad al-Abd and one of the self-claimed commanders of the Brigade 13th Mohammad Hadi al-Abd and Judge of Jabhat al-Nusra in Kafr Hamra town, the Saudi terrorist nicknamed “Abu Azzam al-Jarzawi.”
The killed terrorists also included Shihab Mohammad al-Dahhan Ahmed Bin Mahmoud al-Haj Ali, Mohammad Ahmed al-Dahhan, Mohammad Kheir Bin Ahmed al-Najjar, Hamed al-Sheikh Abdul-Latif and Ammar Mohammad al-Ahmed.
The army air force destroyed hideouts and equipment for ISIS terrorists in Tal Sabin and the villages of al-Halabiyeh, al-Dikwaniyeh, al-Mifilseh, Jib al-Safa , al-Sheikh Ahmad, al-Jadideh, al-Jaberiyeh and Rasm al-Abd in the eastern countryside of the province.
Deir Ezzor
The Army’s Air Force launched strikes against dens and gatherings of ISIS terrorist organization in al-Mriyeh town 10 kilometers to the east of Deir Ezzor.
The strikes left a number of ISIS terrorists dead and destroyed their vehicles in the town, a military source told SANA.
Field sources said that army units carried out accurate strikes against axes of movements and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Mheimdiyeh village in Kasra area to the west of Deir Ezzor.
The strikes resulted in killing a number of terrorists, injuring others and destroying three vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns, two tanks, a canon and a command center for the terrorists.
The sources also said that the army’s artillery targeted ISIS terrorists who were moving on al-Jnaina road, destroying a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun and killing and injuring the terrorists on board.
Army units carried out special operations targeting hideouts and concentrations of ISIS terrorists in Kroum hill and east of Deir Ezzor Military Airport, resulting in killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying an artillery piece.
Idleb
An army targeted gatherings of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh” to the east of Khan Sheikhoun city in the southern countryside of Idleb, field sources told SANA.
Eight terrorists were killed and their arms were destroyed as a result of the operations.
Those are Omar Sharaf-Eddin, Hamdo al-Hussein Abu Salim, Mohammad Hassan al-Youssef, Jamal al-Mohammad, Mousa Omar al-Shamma, Sajie al-Hmeid, Ahmad Mousa al-Bakri and Mustafa al-Gharib.
Hama
45 ISIS terrorists killed in army operation
An army unit, in cooperation with the Popular Defense groups, carried out an accurate operation against one of the hideouts of ISIS terrorist organization in eastern countryside of Hama province, a military source told SANA on Sunday.
The operation resulted in killing 45 ISIS terrorists and destroying 23 various vehicles in al- Raheel farm near Salamiyeh city, according to the source.
The army’s air force conducted airstrikes against dens and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in the villages of al-Rawda, Jana al-Albawi and Abu al-Alaya in the eastern countryside of Hama.
The airstrikes resulted in the destruction of number of vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, in addition to killing numbers of ISIS members.
Field sources told SANA reporter that an army unit destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun in a precise operation against ISIS positions in the area surrounding al-Rawda Farm.
Later, a military source told SANA that the Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force destroyed several headquarters, concentrations, and vehicles for terrorists in al-Rahjan, al-Hazm, and al-Mintar in Hama countryside.
Homs
The army’s air force carried out on Sunday morning a number of airstrikes against ISIS terrorists’ dens in al-Bilaas area and al-Tafha village in the eastern countryside of the central Homs province.
A number of ISIS terrorists were killed in the strikes and their machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed.
In the northern countryside of the province, two vehicles belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were destroyed and a number of them were killed and others were injured during army airstrikes that targeted their positions in the villages of al-Asaliyeh, Deir Foul, Teirmaala and al-Ghanto.
Army units continued to advance in Jwalik, Sneisel, teir Ma’ala and al-Ghantou in the northern countryside of Homs and destroyed command centers and ammunition depots for terrorist organizations.
The Army Air Force also targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in al-Qaryatin and Talbeseh, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Daraa
An army unit carried out a precise operation targeting a group of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to the east of the bridge of al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh village, northeast of Daraa city.
The operation left all members of the terrorist group dead or wounded and their arms and ammunition destroyed.
Another army unit eliminated a number of terrorists in al-Bajabja neighborhood, south of the old customs building, around the technical institute, and east of the shoes factory in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in Daraa city.
Lattakia
The Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force destroyed several headquarters, concentrations, and vehicles for terrorists in Qaraqfi mountain, north of Salma, Marj Khokha, and Tertiah in Lattakia’s northern countryside, a military source told SANA.
Scores of terrorists were killed in the process and a number of their hideouts and machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed.
