Nicosia, SANA – Members of the Syrian community and the Syrian National Union for Syrian Students in Cyprus organized a march to the Russian Embassy in Nicosia on Friday to express appreciation for Moscow’s stances on Syria.

The participants handed over the Russian Ambassador a message of appreciation in which they expressed the Syrians’ appreciation for Russia’s stances in support of the Syrian people, army and leadership and for Moscow’s adherence to the international law and defense of the freedom and independence of peoples.

During speeches in the ceremony, the participants stressed their faith in the ability of the Syrian army to eradicate terrorism and restore stability and security to all the Syrian areas.
