Lattakia, SANA-A delegation of Belgian journalists and parliamentarians visited the province of Lattakia with the aim to gain a first-hand inspection of the conditions of those who were displaced from their original provinces by terrorist groups.
The delegation which visited Kasab town in the northern countryside of Lattakia inspected the large scale of destruction that terrorists wrought to the town before the army restored security and stability in June last year.
The delegation also visited makeshift residential centers and bombed-out residential quarters.
Lattakia governor Ibrahim Khoder al-Salem said during his meeting with the delegation that foreign delegations should be familiarized with the situation in the province to refute allegations promoted by foreign media, vowing that the governorate is ready to help any delegation interested in conveying the true image about the situation in Syria.
