Damascus, SANA – Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi met on Sunday with members of the People’s Assembly representing Quneitra to discuss the social, services and development situation in the southern province.
The positive results that have come out of the continued efforts in achieving local reconciliations in the province were reviewed during the meeting.
Al-Halaqi encouraged more attention to micro, small and medium-sized projects as befits the special natural condition of Quneitra province, particularly as far as the agricultural sector and agricultural industries are concerned.
The MPs, for their part, conveyed to the Premier some of Quneitra locals’ demands, including
providing medical equipment and cadres to hospitals in the province and finding mechanisms
to market the agricultural crops produced in some areas.
