Damascus, SANA – Minister of Higher Education Dr. Mohammad Amer al-Mardini on Monday discussed with a delegation of the Polish Academy of Science (PAN) means of bolstering the scientific and academic relations between the two countries.
Minister al-Mardini said the terrorist war on Syria made the educational institutes depend on themselves to open new specialties and fields, expressing readiness to cooperate with the Polish universities to achieve the interests of the two countries.
For their part, members of the delegation hoped cooperation with the Syrian universities will continue and improve, stressing that the continuity of the educational process despite the war on Syria is an appreciated behavior that further increase their readiness to cooperate with the country’s universities and institutions.
