Republican People’s Party MPs denounce any military intervention in Syria

Ankara, SANA- 13 Turkish parliament members of Republican People’s Party (CHP) denounced Attempts of the government of Justice and Development Party (AKP)to implicate Turkey in military intervention in Syria.

“The plan of establishing a buffer zone north of Syria is an attempt to involve Turkey in a gloomy spiral”, the MPs of CHP asserted in a statement issued Wednesday.

The political will which isolated Turkey from the countries of the region and turned it to a side in the current war in the region, seeks to drag Turkey into fierce war, the MPs added.

They pointed out that the powers which support Takfiri terrorist organizations, with the allege of reforming the region, attempt to enter Turkey into the fire circle under pretext of establishing stability and reconfiguring the Turkish policy through escalating tension.

The MPs asserted their absolute rejection towards such a dangerous adventure, affirming their willingness to confront this inadvisable approach which aims at escalating tension among peoples.
