Second gold medal for syria in high jump competition of Asia championship

Bangkok, SANA- Syrian athlete Majd-Eddin Ghazal won on Monday the gold medal in the high jump competition in the third leg of Asian Athletics Grand Prix Series held in Thailand.

Ghazal registered 226 cm jump to win the third medal after the gold in the second leg and the silver in the first leg.

Ghazal secured qualification for the World Championships in Athletics due to be held in China next August and Rio de Janeiro Olympics in Brazil 2016 after winning the gold in the second leg last Thursday registering 229 cm.
