A mass prayer in Prague in solidarity with Syria

Prague, SANA – Syria, which is being exposed for more than four years to a heinous campaign of terrorism, was an example of coexistence and tolerance in the Middle East, Bishop Kovarsky of Cyril and Methodius Cathedral in Prague said.

“Syria is the cradle of Christianity”, Bishop Kovarsky added during a mass held in Prague in solidarity with Syria and with the two kidnaped bishops, Aleppo’s Greek Orthodox Archbishop, Paul Yazigi, and Syriac Orthodox Archbishop Yohanna Ibrahim.

He prayed for God that Syria restores peace and security and for ending of violence and terrorism in it, calling for releasing the two kidnapped bishops soon.
