Damascus, SANA – A monthly shopping festival, organized by the Damascus Chamber of Industry as part of the Live Syria 2015 campaign, was opened on Saturday evening at al-Jala’a Sports Complex in Damascus, with the participation of 55 companies.
Chairman of Damascus Chamber of Industry Samer al-Debs said that this festival will be held on monthly basis to encourage industrialists who remained in Syria and continue to work despite the current circumstances, adding that it will also help consumers find products at reasonable prices as there are considerable discounts ranging between 25 and 35%, with some discounts event reaching 50%.
He said the Chamber will participate in 8 events throughout 2015, and that this experience will be applied in other areas in the country.
