Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that
It makes little difference to Russia who wins the US presidential election, as both candidates are committed to a confrontation stance towards Russia.

“In fact, Russia does not care about the outcome of this election, given the bipartisan consensus in the United States on confronting our country,” Zakharova said in a statement quoted by TASS.

According to Zakharova, if Washington’s policy shifts after the election, Russia will be ready to consider any US proposals that do not contradict its interests. “In any case, Russia will firmly defend its interests, particularly when it comes to national security,” she emphasized
