Moscow, SANA- Russian air defense systems shot down on Monday 18 Ukrainian drones over several Russian provinces.
“Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using drones on targets in the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted,” Sputnik Agency quoted Russian Defense Ministry as saying in a statement.
According to the statement, 18 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems, 11 of them over the territory of Rostov region, 4 over Bryansk region, 2 over Kursk and one another over Oryol. The Kiev regime is using attack drones and artillery shelling against civilians and civilian facilities in Russia, trying to divert attention from the failure of what it calls the “counterattack,” which it had announced in June, 2023.
