Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- The Israeli occupation committed a horrific massacre Saturday evening in Beit Lahiya, in the northern Gaza Strip, in which 80 Palestinians were martyred and dozens others were wounded or missing, most of whom are children and women, after shelling overcrowded residential neighborhoods.
The Media Office in Gaza condemned in the strongest terms the occupation’s perpetration of this massacre and the continuing war of extermination and ethnic cleansing against civilians, children and women, calling on all the states of the world to condemn the ongoing crimes of occupation against displaced persons and civilians and against children and women.
The office said this new massacre coincides with destroying the northern Gaza Strip health system, which is currently home to nearly 400 thousand Palestinians.
“The occupation demanded that medical staff leave the hospitals and evacuate them immediately. It also prevented fuel from reaching them and cut off communications and the internet from the area, causing a deep humanitarian crisis,” according the Media Office.
The Office held the Israeli occupation, the US administration, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and the states involved in the genocide fully responsible for the continuation of the crime of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Office called on the international community and all United Nations and international organizations to press the occupation to stop the genocide in Beit Lahiya, the Jabalia camp and the northern Gaza Strip, as well as to stop ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.
