Havana, SANA-Cuba strongly condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Damascus, stressing that they violate international law and Syrian sovereignty.
“We strongly condemn the attacks carried out by Israel on Damascus and Mezzeh neighborhood, where there are a large number of diplomatic missions.”Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said.
He added, “This act violates Syria’s sovereignty and international law and endangers the lives of civilians and diplomats accredited in this country.”
In addition, the Cuban Foreign Ministry expressed its ” deep concern about the events taking place in the Middle East region resulting from the aggressive policy pursued by the Israeli entity with military, logistical and political support from the United States government, all of which lead to a dangerous escalation and further endanger regional stability and security.
