Damascus, SANA- Syria condemned the Israeli escalation against Palestinians in the West Bank, and denounced the support that Israel receives from the United States and other Western countries.
“Over the past few days, we have witnessed a dangerous escalation of massacres committed by the Israeli army of genocide against Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem,” Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
The Ministry added that the occupation army continues to commit more crimes of genocide in Jenin and its camp in the West Bank. It also continues to kill Palestinians with hatred and destroy their homes in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry noted that Syria affirms that the escalation of the Zionist entity’s massacres in the West Bank proves its intentions to liquidate the Palestinians, whether in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip, in fulfillment of its false historical illusions.
The Ministry indicated that the support that “Israel” receives from the United States and other Western countries shows that Israeli claims of not expanding military operations and stopping the policies of genocide are mere meaningless words.
The Ministry pointed out that these Western and American policies in support of the Israeli entity are not directed only against the Palestinian people, but are policies followed in any part of the world that does not apply policies that respond to the interests of the West.
The Ministry went out by saying that Syria strongly condemns these Western policies, attacks and crimes of genocide carried out by the racist Zionist entity with American support, and demands that they be stopped immediately because they constitute a clear introduction to the new world that Western countries are seeking to create.
The Ministry concluded that Syria calls on countries of the world that believe in the sovereignty of states and their legitimate rights to stand against these policies and attacks that threaten all parts of the world at the political, legal and economic levels.
