Foreign Ministry: Armenia’s recognition of State of Palestine contributes to restoring Palestinians’ rights

Damascus-SANA- Syria highly appreciated Armenia’s recognition of the State of Palestine, stressing that the decision contributes to restoring the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement.

The statement added “Syria asserts that this courageous decision contributes to achieving the Palestinians’ legitimate aspirations to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital”.

Syria calls on the international community to take urgent steps to end the Israeli occupation and enable the Palestinian people to obtain their inalienable rights, the statement concluded.
