Damascus, SANA – Syrian men’s national football team will meet Thursday its Jordanian counterpart in a friendly match to be hosted in the Jordanian capital Amman.
The match, which is Syria’s first within FIFA events, is being held in the framework of the two teams’ preparations for participation in international competitions.
Manager Fajr Ibrahim is coaching the team in the events, as he has undertaken the mission of training the team since early this year to lead it for the qualifiers of the AFC Asia Cup and World Cup, that are scheduled for next June.
The national team will meet its Tajik counterpart in an friendly international match in the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe, on the 31st of March.
