Hanoi, SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vietnamese President To Lam held talks that issued a joint statement affirming that Moscow and Hanoi stress the necessity of forming a multipolar world system.
Sputnik news agency quoted the statement published on the Kremlin’s website as saying: The two sides pointed out that the importance of continuing to deepen comprehensive strategic relations in the context of the thirtieth anniversary of the friendship agreement concluded between the two countries.
The statement noted that the agreement is consistent with the principles and norms of international law and contributes to ensuring peace, stability and development and sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region and the world as a whole.
The statement noted that Russia and Vietnam oppose interference in the affairs of the East and are constantly working to strengthen their comprehensive strategic partnership despite the complex situation in the world.
It added that the two sides are committed to resolving the Palestinian issue on an international legal basis, and will continue to develop cooperation in combating international terrorism and its financing.
The statement concluded that Vietnam’s full support for Russia in its war against terrorist and extremist forces.
