Geneva, SANA-With the participation of Syria, activities of the 77th session of the World Health Assembly began on Monday in Geneva and will continue until June 1st under the title “All for Health, and Health for All.”
The session’s agenda includes topics related to the work of the World Health Organization, preparedness and response to health emergencies in the world, reviewing and updating the Global Peace Initiative, polio and its eradication, tuberculosis and smallpox, issues of comprehensive health coverage, and other health topics.
The Syrian delegation comprises Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabbash the Permanent Representative of Syria to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Hayder Ali Ahmed, and Minister Counselor to the Permanent Mission of Syria to the United Nations in Geneva, Dr. Reem Jabr.
