Geneva, SANA- Health Minister Dr. Hassan al-Ghabbash, affirmed that the Syrian government is making great efforts and doing the necessary preparations with the aim of returning the offices of the General Secretariat of the Arab Board for Health Specializations to Damascus.
This came during in his participation in the meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Health at its 60th session in Geneva.
Al-Ghabbash discussed with his counterparts the recommendations issued by the Technical Advisory Committee of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, which serve to strengthen and deepen Arab joint cooperation in the field of health.
Participants agreed several points centered on the health and humanitarian repercussions of Israel’s ongoing aggression on Gaza Strip and the crimes of occupation against Palestinians, activating the work of the Arab Committee for Primary Health Care and Family Medicine, in addition to an Arab health strategy that is compatible with the specificities of the affected areas on the one hand, and the specificities of Health crises on the other hand.
The Arab Board for Health Specializations is an Arab professional scientific body established in 1978 by the Council of Arab Ministers of Health, under the umbrella of the League of Arab States.
