Sultanate of Oman warns of Rafah invasion consequences, calls on international community to intervene to stop Israeli violations

Muscat, SANA-Sultanate of Oman warned of consequences of Israeli entity’s invasion of Palestinian city of Rafah, calling on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the ongoing Israeli violations of international law and the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed in a statement its deep concern over the continued brutal aggression launched by Israeli authorities on Gaza Strip and the war crimes and genocide against defenseless civilians in occupied Palestinian territories, and demanded to stop Israeli violations immediately.

The statement added” Israeli occupation entity bears full responsibility “for these violations, war crimes, and the policy of starvation and forced displacement that it commits, all of which represent crimes against humanity.

The statement  also warned of the consequences of the Israeli forces’ invasion of the city of Rafah, which portends serious catastrophic effects that may lead to expanding the scope of conflict and tension in the region.
