Hasaka, SANA-Hasaka governorate received on Tuesday the first batch food packages, offered by World Food Program (WFP) at Nusaybin crossing border in Qamishli to be distributed to the displaced families in the province .
“The first batch includes 15 trucks loaded with 8500 flour sacs, 5050 rice and lentils sacs out of total 46 thousand packages, Issam al-Hussein, Director of social affairs in Hasaka, said in a statement to SANA, adding that delivering the food packages will continue until March 26th.
He noted that the distribution process will be via the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and other charitable associations.
