Tehran, SANA- The Syria-Iran Joint High Commission meetings were held today in the capital Tehran, headed by Dr. Mohamad Mokhber, First vice President of Iran and Prime Minister Hossein Arnous.
The two sides affirmed the common and serious determination to implement the agreed issues to achieve results that serve both countries.
Various aspects of bilateral cooperation were also addressed, such as energy, banking and investment projects, with the aim of satisfying the needs of both sides.
During the meeting, Arnous expressed his gratitude to the Iranian side for its great efforts recently in preparing the committee meetings.
He expressed hope that these meetings would achieve the desired results for the interests of the two friendly countries.
“The meetings and agreements held in Damascus between President Bashar Assad and President Ibrahim Reisi last May constituted an important and significant step for the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in economic terms,” said Arnous.
The Prime Minister stressed that all documents to be signed must be put into practice as soon as possible together with other previously signed documents.
