Suwaidiyah Power Plant goes out of service due to Turkish aggression

Hasaka, SANA- Turkish occupation warplanes targeted on Friday morning Suwaidiyah Power Plant in al-Malikiyah countryside in the far northeast of Syria.

Head of Hasaka Electricity Company, eng. Saleh Idris, said that the Turkish aggression caused a fire and serious material damage.

“The Suwaidiyah plant is the only remaining source of electrical power in Hasaka province and supplied electricity to vital and service institutions,” he explained.

He added that currently the province depends on a small amount of electrical current that arrives through the power line (230 kv) from Tabqa in Raqa province, to guarantee the operation of water plants, hospitals, bakeries and health centers. Telecommunications.

On Thursday, a number of electrical transfer stations in the cities of Qamishli and Amuda, in northeastern Syria went out of service as a result of a similar Turkish aggression with drones.
